So this is one of my favorite songs of all time. It was written and first recorded in 1963 by Richard Chamberlain. ( They Long To Be ) Close To You, was written by Burt Bacharach and The song stayed at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for four weeks. It was an amazing adventure recording this song. I hope you enjoy it as much as i did.
