The harmonica player is all over the place and interfering with Ms. Hester's beautiful vocals. Why they hired this novice, or even more puzzling, why the producer kept this take, who knows.

I heard Carolyn's voice for the first time only about 10 minutes ago, and it's official. I'm in love with her!

I saw her with Dick Farina with Rory & Alex McEwan at the Edinburgh Festival in 1962 or 63. Bought an EP from the concert, "Four For Fun" which I have sadly lost!

I guess that's why there was only a handful of people of a certain age that were in the audience.

I remember Carolyn from the folk revival days in the 60s, touring with Ramblin Jack Elliot. Saw her performing on a UK tour again a few years ago, in a small room upstairs at the Portland Vaults pub, Bristol, to a tiny handful of people. What a waste. A great talent.

The most beautiful folksinger ever. Period! She also had a beautiful voice to match her looks as well.

The story goes something like this. John Lee Hooker said that " Bob Dylan wants to play harp in the worst way, and he does." Got to admitt, his harp playing on this tune is pretty lame. But this was a long time ago and he's improved somewhat.
