I swear to God when I first watched this show and I saw this scene as a teenager and heard the song, I kept hearing "HOT STEW, HOT STEW, *inaudible*" instead of "HIGH SCHOOL, HIGH SCHOOL, CONFIDENTIAL", and I was like wtf hot stew??? Even though I heard the rest of the lyrics perfectly. Years later I rewatched it, still heard hot stew, then I listened to the soundtrack, and even seeing the "High school confidential" it didn't tick in my head, rofl. HOT STEW CONFIDENTIAL FTW.

Yeah LOL. She's already horrified when she finds him at Woody's and it's just a bar, imagine if she had walked into Babylon (traumatizing in itself for a mother to see your 17 year old in a place like this, honestly) WHILE Justin was participating in the King of Babylon contest, that would've been the most awkward scene in the entire show, right up there with Brian's mother finding out that Brian's gay.
