This was one of my favorite songs by here. This is the kind of music I grew up with as a kid! Great stuff!

True, Jazz man was from a later album, but this one IS iconic, and I like the kitty.

One of my all time favorite intros of any song. Carole's voice is as American as apple pie.

I haven't heard this piece in a very long time. Every so often, this song gets into my head, so today, I decided that I would listen to it. I think I am going to go out get this CD. I've been a Carole King fan for years. This song brings back so many happy memories of the '70s; the peace of that decade, the naturalness....

Carole King ... brings back memories - tho' bad ones. Her voice is monotonous - almost monotone, maybe one octave, frail with no depth. The lyrics are pop-music drivel (at least the instrumentals are decent here). Zero feeling, zero empathy. No - she reached her level of incompetence doing ketchup & postage stamp jingles.A Grace Slick, Janis Joplin or Linda Ronstadt could have smacked this softball out of the park, but Carole voice reminds me of cats mating & fighting out near the garage cans. Horrible, nasal poo..
