From the concert "Carola sings Elvis & Barbra Streisand" in Dalhalla, Sweden, 3 July 2010. A concert where Carola paid tribute to her greatest role models in music. Carola's father loved Elvis and Carola's mother loved Barbra, so this was also in memory of them.
Carola herself is a Scandinavian superstar and had her breakthrough at the age of 16, 27 years ago.
This was shown on Swedish television 26 August and will be released on dvd 17 November.

I love Barbra Streisand, but I have to say that she doesn't own the songs she sings. It is most refreshing to hear her tunes in a deifferent format, with a different voice. Gives it a new life and actually adds interest. If one is not open to variations, one is quite stagnant. I have the deepest respect for Carola and her voice is most certainly up to par to the numbers she choses to perform. I imagine that Ms Streisand would agree.11 years ago
