@marriuss19 Jesus = Joshua in Hebrew. MANY people have the name Joshua. It isn't the name in and of itself that is exalted... but that Jesus as Lord is to be worshiped at the very utterance of his name. Paul wasn't prohibiting using "J.C." as a shorthand. I think it is a silly title to call Jesus as "J.C.", but a sin it is not.

I do not think it is appropriate to abbreviate Jesus Christ to JC. I think Carmen should know this by now. I like most of Carmen's music but I think this is not what our kids need to do for their Lord.
