Wow, she's Irish! I didn't think one of my own was in the American Pop Idol. Her efforts were never highlighted here in Ireland unfortunately, in a country that has very few talented power ballad singers like this. Did she ever studio record this?

I kind of like her song choice--I feel like Simon wants people to fit into a certain commercial, mainstream niche which just isn't right for some people. Most important is to project yourself as the kind of artist you want to be, even if that wont make you a huge pop star. So maybe she didn't become the next Kelly Clarkson, but hopefully she'll find success with We Are The Fallen.
