I was stuck @ the Pickwick Motor Inn @ Exit 46 of the Long Island Express Way for a few days in the mid 70s. Having little else to do I spent a bit of time in the lounge and of course played the Jukebox. This song was on the flip-side of "You're So Vain" so I gave it a play. Been hooked on it every since but could rarely find it in public establishments and if I asked, I would just get a blank look from whomever. Finding it here is awesome.Speed Brakes

I had a friend Robin; She was in the 10th grade and I was in the 12th. We were just friends and then I went off to college in 1972. This song came out and I have thought of her often. Never saw her again. It was an Air Force town and people came and went quickly.

My boyfriend was Robin, died over 7 years ago at the age of 49 from cancer, everyone who met him loved him. I had this album since my student days in the 70's, it took me about 3 years to listen to this song, my Robin was as special as Carly's Robin, whoever he was....♥
