Got to see Brian sing this at a music industry event, where the Beatles were given a video award, then I was given a special journalism award, then Brian came out and did God Only Knows, solo, with just a keyboard. It was one of the great moments for me. Brian left the whole place in tears.

Some of his best recording include "Steamboat" (from Carl and the Passions), "Surf's Up", "Caroline No" and the entire 1974 recording "Beach Boys In Concert" which is by far one of the best live albums of the twentieth century.
