I just found out about Steez recently. I copped the Joey Album and started researching the movement. Reading Steez story and hearing his lyrics had me feeling some type of way about his passing...Another brother cut short before he could reach his apex. Reminds me of Stack Bundles. There stories were different but the same. Both got better and perfect the craft and right before they get that one opportunity, they get pulled from earth. I don't know pro era personally, but after reading a lot, it seems like one them is prevalent: Steez was the founder of Pro Era and the Beast Coast movement but was not getting the proper recognition. He was definitely the best rhymed out the group, but Joey had the marketability. If he was going thru depression issues I'm sure seeing someone else thrive off his creation didn't help. If you hear his verse on last straw you could almost hear the anger and desperation. As far as his belief in chakras, illuminati, etc....I've read up on plenty of that and you can definitely get soaked up in paranoia if you don't take a step back and rationalize and critical think about the information you receive...all in all, Capital Steez was a Beast! #
