I like this song too. It was written Kay Swift, a rather talented lady song writer. Sadly, it seems to be the only thing she wrote. I like the bitter-sweet lyric, but I prefer it a touch faster. Indeed, the tune/song is commonly played as a light swing number in F major. Interestingly, Frank is singing it in D major - OK for a scored arrangement - but wouldn't be good for improvisation with horns and so on. Once Frank gets to the chorus, the band picks up the beat, and everyone should be committed to it, but Frank isn't. There is a moment where Frank sings so laid back that the band hesitates, as though it would have lost him entirely. And that's a big sacrifice. Normally, swing bands won't hesitate like this - the singer has to recover the rhythm himself - so it shows how Frank dominates the band. I don't think this is Frank's best performance, but it's still enjoyable, and I have to admire his intonation and full tone on some tricky intervals.

Don't want to draw unnecessary comparisons, but it's disgusting how much Michael Buble has stolen from Frank. No one will move me or make me happy or elated or make the hairs on my neck stand up like 'Ol Blue Eyes. Buble is plastic, emotionless and just a plain carbon copy. R.I.P. Frank <3
