I could go into detail about the rest of the riffs, the contrast made by the alternating syncopated and onbeat rhythms, the triplets and tremolo picking etc, but those two riffs alone are absolutely archetypal....That fucking intro though.I mean, Slayer could've crammed more riffs than this whole song has into that eighty seconds.
