Although the sun had dried much of me during the Anthrax gig, I decided I really did not want to catch a cold and went back to the car for a clothes change. That meant I skipped both Danzig and DevilDriver, who were playing at the same time.According to one of my friends, Danzig were playing a Misfits setlist (awesome!), but decided to throw a public hissy fit about just about everything Wacken had to offer, complaining about this or that. I'm glad now I missed them. DevilDriver, on the other hand, I'm still sad about.With dry clothes, I went back to the stage in time to decide between either Alice Cooper or Candlemass. I would have liked to see Alice Cooper, for much the same reason I wanted to see Motörhead, because I want to see the older musicians while they last... but Candlemass has long been a favourite band of mine, and I finally wanted to see them live!They've been around long enough to also play something of a "greatest hits" setlist, with all the great songs we know, but also a few new ones. 11. Candlemass - WaterwitchAfterwards I would have waited to see Meshuggah, but I was tired and my driver wanted to set off early, so I skipped them.
