this song has been stuck in my head since January 1st. i couldn't let go of her. i had to contact the airline to which i had seen this music video... i remembered her first name but it's spelt so differently and i never had a chance to locate her music while abroad. so five months later... she's still memorable :) in all honest to god saying.

I mean no disrespect, but if I'm being perfectly honest, Payne has nothing insightful or provocative to say, her music is so forgettable. Her voice is indistinctive and insincere, her song writing is weak - she crafts songs like a 14 year old who wants people to think they're cool and profound. Maybe I'm being cynical, but I can't help but think that she got signed due to her obvious industry connections. I gave her album a shot, but I just couldn't find anything to like.
