Thank you Rob Schwartz for directing and seeing my vision and letting me keep my creative input and image. Its not everyday you find a director that is willing to incorporate an artists vision as much as you did. And that's exactly what we all are at the end of the day... ARTISTS! J We create from our inner centers.

I wanted to do something different and wild in this video. I wanted to make a statement on all levels... Lyrically, visually, and mentally.... Lyrically I am coming from a stand point of "EVERYONE" wanting to "BE SOMEONE", which I feel in our society is true. For example... when your about to go out on the town at night with your friends, your man, your girlfriend... whatever have you, you get all dressed up and hype yourself up to make yourself feel and look like YOU ARE THE "SHIT"! Well that's where I am coming from in this song, then you add a little bit of alcohol in the night, or for some people, well majority of people, add some other substances to their life, then BAM the fuckin LUNATIC comes out and about, creeping, roaming through the night like a wild animal that has been recently let loose out of captivity... Then there's all sorts of havoc and mischief... This song is about embracing that inner animal side however it fits your lifestyle.

Visually I wanted to come from a stand point of embracing that inner beautiful freak that people are constantly shut off to and closed minded about because of what people might say and think.. Its kind of like when you meet someone for the first time and physically they are beautiful, everything about them is attractive... You get to know their personality a little more and suddenly their attractiveness is out the window because of how ugly they are as a person. In first meeting this person though you might hold back who you are because you want this person to "like" you, to find you as "infatuating" and "attractive" as you find them so sometimes as people we shield and hide who we are even though we really don't know if that person will accept or deny our flaws in the first place. In finding out how ugly of a person this person is, suddenly that shield is taken off and we become who we are. Visually this video is exactly that, its like Halloween when every girl dresses like a SLUT because it's the one time of year that its acceptable.. Its about embracing that sexy, dominatrix, lunatic freak that deep down inside all of us have instilled.
