Hey man, I know what you mean and mostly agree. I've been thinking about what you wrote though. My opinion is, considering the number of decks and the way of C&T performing, that it may have to do with mixing tracks up n stuff. There tend to be not much time to expose even a half of the track sounding alone and I think sometimes it's not necessary to add new elements by the time when two tracks already overlap. It's just an idea that came to my mind, peace (:

I liked it a lot until 3:58 ... why do so many producers do this: begin with a cool intro, drop into a driving beat, slow it down, have a slightly different build and then drop to the EXACT SAME beat as the first? a good track simply should not do this ... sure you can have a thematically related beat but it has to be much different than the first in order to make it interesting and not repetitive
