Porque la versión del sound track es diferente a la pelicula? en la película se escucha diferente como mariachi en algunas partes y acá lo cambiaron por un órgano creo... no se si me explique, llevo meses buscando la versión con en la película y nada... pareciera que la modificaron solo para esa escena donde entra al bar mexicano. Alguien sabe algo? si tienen la película a la mano comparen y notaran la diferencia.

“Güero canelo” could translate to “strawberry blonde.” In Mexican Spanish the word “güero” means blonde while “canelo” comes from the Spanish word for cinnamon and refers to a reddish color, the same way that in English “ginger” is used to refer to someone with red hair. In Mexico people with red hair are given the nickname “canelo” like the famous Mexican boxer Saul “Canelo” Alvarez. Calexico is a band from Tucson, Arizona and in this town there is a chain of Mexican restaurants owned by Daniel Contreras called “El Güero Canelo.” Contreras is a red haired man who was born in the Mexican town of Magdalena in the state of Sonora and he became famous for selling the “Sonoran Hot Dog.” There you go!

I, too, was struck by the inclusion of the song in an unusually interesting (for Tom Cruise; let's not get carried away here.) film. Since I live in Arizona, I like Mexican corridos and when I looked up the song I saw it was Calexico - who I'd never listened to.Well, I rectified that situation right away and now I've probably got 15 Calexico albums. This music really gets me in the gut. We saw them perform in Phoenix earlier this year. Best show of the year. O yeah!They spend a lot of time in Europe, but if they come to your town, do NOT miss them. You'll hate yourself. Also, for you old hippies from the peacelovedope '60s, you probably remember a group named Love. They recorded one of the 5 best records of the decade and one of their big tunes was "Alone Again Or." Calexico does it and does it very well. It's on at least a couple of albums.Feliz Navidad, gringos.
