Who are Sid & Nancy lol, not the biggest punk fan Kingsley. Basically they were 2 junkies (not saying they were bad people thou) Nancy was a groupie from Philly and Sid was from London, he played bass in sex pistols they both dated for about 2 years. Nancy Spungen was murdered aged 20 in 1978 or 79 in NYC at the infamous Chelsea hotel & Sid was charged with her murder, but he died of a overdose a few mths later aged 21 before it got to trial, case closed police never arrested anyone else 4 Nancy's murder. It's not a romantic story it's tragic and heroin pathetic but their is lots of info online about them if your interested.
