I get asked all the time about my thoughts on females in the industry. The lack of support we receive. What role I feel I play in it? Do I feel I have a responsibility to lead the way? After having numerous conversations throughout the year with other artists, both male and female, I decided instead of getting frustrated with the topic, why not answer the question for myself and others the best way I know how to... from my heart.

We have an amazing assortment of female talent, some known and unknown. I believe that we have just as much of a voice as the men do. There are things that we can speak into lives of a female that men can't, and vice versa. We also can shed light on topics from a female's perspective, that men may have always wanted to know but have been afraid to ask. So our role in the movement is very necessary!

This video is awesome. Believers do not judge like I almost did, but listen to the lyrics. It speaks the truth. Praise God reaching to our kids.

Could someone link me to all the female rappers she reps at the end? I've heard of some of them and looked them up on Youtube (I don't know why I said Facebook originally, lol), but some of them I've never heard of before, and I'm always on the look out for more awesome female Christian rappers.

Your gift shall make room for you. Look at Jackie Perry when she puts out material people listen. If there isn't a lane for females make one. There are female artist in there lane and they are very much respected for what they do. Wanting to be heard and seen sounds like a deeper issue. I pray we figure it out family. As hard as it may sound none of us should expect anything but a harvest when doing the work of the Lord.

It has been hard to find Christian female artists who have honed the craft of being a lyricist. A dope beat with flow that is old school doesn't work to drag these lil girls or grown women away from the Nikki Minajs' of this time. A lot of times because artists say Lord, Lord or rep for Christ, have a catchy phrase or an ok hook, we let it pass with a pat on the back, but the young girls and boys into secular music...click NEXT. Yes, Christian male musicians or musicians who are Christians have a responsibility given to them by God. If your women are not supported, you WILL FALL. You can't get too far without your Proverb 31s', that's in business and in life.Yet our function is to forgive and make the request known. Tell these ladies where they fall short within the context of the genres they represent and then give them the mentorship they need to TAKE THIS WORLD!!!! You can tell when the Holy Spirit is writing rhymes or flows and when it's the ego. The Bible is full of lyrical content. God is the original lyricist. It's time, I declare 2015 The Year of the Lioness! It requires the support of fans and Godly men. I think Butta P this message is right on time! New Year, New Focus.

This is real concious rap because its thought provoking and its really from the heart. I'm not gonna say she's like the christian Niki minaj because it puts her in a because she's different to nicki minaj in a sense that on this track she's more humble and you can feel that she's not just pouring her heart out but painting her experience in the listeners head. Its a shame that these days the target demographic doesn't know about female mc. I hope in the future that these artist get they're spot light soon.
