Led Zep added keyboards in the end, so did The Who (prominently). Aerosmith had quite a few recent songs with keyboards. (Dream On not included). Artists have to evolve to remain relevant in todays' musical cornucopia of trash, and I'm certain that you all can name at least 5-10 of them. While this song is more mellow with its' major key and pacing, the lyrics don't compare to anything top-ten; there is work here, good work. And, on a side note, this song is pretty good. Deal with it...you can't go back to the 90's. Even The Ramones evolved. Granted, it was mostly due to better studio production.
