Yet, dubstep has been out since 1996, and when 'rock' came out, people said the exact same thing, I don't like to rant and flame, it's just that yes, rock has survived for so long, and what's to say that dubstep doesnt :3? It has "hit the scene" maybe two years ago, but i was listening to it way before, it existed since 1996, it did evolve out of nowhere... and that's the progress of music, who knows what we will have next :D

Why is it not music? We have advanced from the era of classical to further into "pop" which was started in the 60's, from new music with new things with guitar. So we advance to now, new instruments, new tools, new things to do more sounds to explore, and because it doesn't have the same old boring guitar and has something new, we have to hate on it? I am ashamed to have you as a "metal" lover, if you can't accept other people's music, why should they accept ours?
