Bullet For My Valentine will be releasing VENOM, their 5th album, on August 13th, 2015. Temper, Temper received mixed reaction, which could explain why this song sounds like the band has a chip on their shoulder. It feels more aggressive and better constructed, giving metalcore fans something to be excited about.

Bullet has definitely been a band that has caught my eyes because they were the band that opened me up to heavier music. The first fast paced "heavy" song I had ever listened to was waking the demon by bullet and i just ate it up I wanted more so I listened to a lot more of bullet and I started moving to heavier darker stuff and a lot of older stuff. I love this new song and I am so very excited for the new album.

Are you gonna review You Want A Battle? (Here's A War) and Army of Noise?

I liked Temper Temper. I think poison is still their best album, but I still liked Temper Temper, though.

The poison and scream aim fire were awesome, fever was good but not great, temper temper was a depressingly bad version of fever.... and this is like fever + the poison. They definately could do better with the lyrics as well as do some less breakdowns but overall wipes the floor with temper temper. 7.3/10 I'm hoping to hear some brutal thrash metal songs that bring me back to music similar to mid-2000s NWOAHM stuff. Also, considering how good bullet's music is (It's not 10/10 but still pretty close) why the HELL are similar bands to bullet considered to be a day to remember, asking alexandria, black veil brides, freaking bring me the horizon and even sleeping with sirens??? Those guys aren't even metal they're just mallcore posers smfh

My favourite band I love everything they've ever written . I have high hopes for this album I believe its reverted back to The Poison days which is great and its going to be such a wonderful pleasure hearing it live. I loved your metaphor it summed it up incredibly well and also I believe they've learnt from Temper Temper because compared to previous albums it was a real weak album but its good to know it hasn't ruined their career so all in all looks to be a strong album that will do very well

The track is sick. I'm feeling venomous.Flows good, is intense, and well written. The only issue I have is the melody for the vocals isn't all that memorable. Fortunately, everything else is. Matt's screams have returned for the better methinks.

I´m happy with this new song. Feels like BFMV is finally getting things right. Good review :D

My only negatives with the song was I felt the lyrics and vocals were very generic. I loved the screaming and Matt's voice just i felt they could've harmonized better in some parts or done some things differently.

Bullet is not metalcore, they're heavy metal. They just happen to imitate hardcore screaming from Trivium is all. Do you hear modern metalcore breakdowns? Nope. Sure, the screaming vocals are hardcore, but did they ever specifically cite any hardcore bands as their influence for it? Nope.

Music:I thought it was so much better than the plain and simple tracks in Temper Temper. They certainly left out that softy soft music they played in Temper Temper and Fever. I especially liked the guitar riff in the pre-chorus and the build up to the solo. While the solo isn't their best, jaw dropping one, it had a certain ring to it.Vocals:Matt finally seems to have found the aggression he had in Scream Aim Fire, which is good news for the band and the fans. He looks to have found the right technique for his screams so I don't think we'll see his voice suffer like it did back in 2007/2008. His voice seems to hold its own in the song which is an encouraging sign.Lyrics:BFMV (well Matt) were never good lyricists. Most of their lyrics seem too mainstream or cliched. As you said in the Temper Temper review, you can see it coming. However, their forte seems to be in the lyrics of their ballads (e.g. Tears Don't Fall). I didn't have many expectations with the lyrics but I'm happy with what we got. Conclusion:Bullet have sent a clear message to the critics and the fans: WE MEAN BUSINESS THIS TIME. Obviously this message was already received by the supporters through Raising Hell, but this is a beautiful build-up to the much-awaited release of the album. Sorry if this comment is too boring long or if my grammar is atrocious (people say I'm bad at getting my feelings and opinions across).

So fucking proud of this track, my boys are back!! \m/ personally, I don't mind the cheesy lyrics, I've kind of always thought that all their lyrics where like that, especially Fever and Temper Temper's lyrics
