Richie Furay is the real talent in this group. He is also the only one that can still really sing.

Almost ancient. The CSNY prefab. Still going strong. One of the best songs of the "On The Way Home" album.

I have to say that this was always one of my favorite songs by The Springfield...having said that I saw Stills and Manassas open 3 different shows in 1974 with this song and it blew me away...What a band they were!!!

Actually there is a strong Burrito - Springfield connection = Chris Hillman later joined Stills as a member of his Manassas project.

Steve should always have stuck with hi six-string buddy, not those glorified backup singers.

@magicminstrel My sentiments exactly. I have a video of their practice sessions-which were held in the basement of Stephen's home in Florida-and everyone are just bursting with enthusiasm, especially Bruce and Dewey! Stephen's voice was still good, he was still capable of wowing an audience with that unique, passionate voice that is sadly gone now. If only Neil hadn't pulled the plug on what surely would have been a REAL Buffalo Springfield reunion, not just another band promoting his school!

@Babyhowdy233 Yeah, I guess it's better late than never, but pity it didn' t happen when Stills could still sing.

I can't help but watch this reunion and think to myself if only Neil had allowed them to have this reunion back in the eighties when they had first planned it then Bruce and Dewey 's lives quite possibly would have been alot easier and maybe longer too.The band were all set to begin touring again with ALL the original members then at the very last minute Neil was a no-show. Bruce in particular BADLY needed that tour-both mentally and financially. So sad it took this long to happen.

There I was a 16 year old kid from Salem, Oregon driving around in my first car a 56 Buick Special with am no less and my boys Buffalo Springield began there run of timeless classics. Thank you for bringing back all of these great memories. Long may you run, and to Dewey and Bruce RIP.
