Thelonesniper101 .

Oh my god I love the fuzz sound from the little electric guitar riff in the beginning, how can I get it?

Absolutely love this one! I believe the killer bass is Bruce Palmer, not Jim Messina hn though it was however. Love this album even if it was sort of thrown together.

I absolutely love Buffalo Springfield. For What It's Worth is my all time fave song! Love Stills, Crosby, and Nash. Forgive me if I failed to include all members. Just love the sound!

Stephen Stills said in an interview that Carry On was the last track added to CS&N's second LP. They were all breaking up with their respective ladies, so everyone was a little down emotionally. That's why Stills re-wrote this songs lyrics into the opening song on their second effort to add some positive energy to the LP.

You dont see the open doors when you stare at black walls..... So you owe much to the painter of the walls... that he did not wright your nickname on...

I'm embarrassed that I had never come across this song, and had no idea that it inspired what is one my favorite musical moments: the last part of "Carry On" by CSNY. I find out FORTY-TWO YEARS LATER that it was lifted from this very cool Stephen Stills song!

Refrain reminds me of midnight voyage from The Mama´s and the Papa´s. Any connection?

Wow. I'm one of those people who only know Buffalo Springfield because of "For What It's Worth", but their other songs are really good.
