just saw a show that mentions a Curse concerning those who recorded Buddy's songs or toured with him later on. and from what i've read, this may not have been the Crickets on here but indeed the Fireballs. still my fav Holly tune don't know why

dont know why but this is my fav Holly song and fav version of it. i wonder if anyone can tell me what the Crickets thought of it. i heard they finished it not the Fireballs but could be wrong, that's why i'm intrested. also wonder if the like Loves Made O Fool Of You by Bobby Fuller

@Jennifur ... none of Buddy's equipment was in the plane when it went down. Years ago Guitar Player magazine had a feature on finding his original Sunburst Stratocaster & the current owner was having it completely refinished (sacrilege). Also have seen posts on fb by Eugene Moles having Buddy's original tweed amp.

Thank you! You know what? I am guilty of not reading a bio on Buddy Holly. I did read the book on the Winter Dance Party which was amazing and sad. Do you happen to know if Holly planned to record with Valens? I had read that they were planning to work together.
