Check out Buddy's boppish double-time @2:30. This quite a blend of musicians in 1953. Kenny was 25, Milt was 43, Blakey was 33 and Buddy was 30 years old. It reminds me of the mix of stylistic generations of the players on Cannonball's "Something Else", where Hank Jones and Art Blakey were seemingly the "old lions".
