LOVE LOVE LOVE this song! I remember buying Bucks Fizz's and Cher's versions back in the day. They're both great. But Bucks Fizz just about edge it for me. Bucks Fizz are a much under-rated group who recorded many great songs. But the stations that play 80's music always forget them. Probably because they're not considered 'cool'. Crazy.

I think both Cher and Bucks Fizz nailed this song. I can't get it out of my head. Wish I knew what all the lyrics mean. Sort of confusing.

Krásna verzia piesne Heart Of Stone, ktorým sa Bucks Fizz vrátili do rebríčka v UK. Bol to ich posledný hit v rebríčku. Začiatkom novembra 1988 bol v ňon len tri týždne a skončil napokon na 50.m. V interpretácii Cher skončil v USA vo februari 1990 na 20.m. V zostave už nebola Jay Aston, ktorú v roku 1985 nahradila Shelley Preston. Nolan sa vyliečil po zranení z decembra 1984 a so skupinou pokračoval v koncertoch. V lete 1986 uzatvorili zmluvu so spoločnosťou Polydor a nahrali pieseň čiastočne spievanú v swahilčine New Beginning(Mamba Seyra), ktorá vrátila skupinu do TOP 10 a v lete 1986 skončila na 8.m. V roku 1988 sa vrátili k spoločnosti RCA a nahrali tento svoj posledný hit.

Sorry but although this one is the original it doesn't stand a chance next to Cher's version. This one sounds so shallow. Cher's emotion and vocals on this one are impeccable and so right when it comes to her life and career. Amen
