I realize that this thread is old but I feel I must respond. As a 'person of color' I happen to like this 'all-white' crap. I also listen to all genres of music. I've seen Ricky play twice and got to meet him. I've never met a blue-grasser who didn't accept me for me.I've reached the half-century mark and I refuse to limit my musical tastes to what others would deem appropriate.

Are you insinuating that people of colour would not be allowed into the show?When I went to see Nina Simone in Buffalo during the sixties there were no other white people there, but it didn't occur to me that the reason was that she was racist.I think you should take a reality check.

They are singing one of many old songs of African-American origin that have been ingrained into, and are an integral part of American music.
