When I worked in radio, I was the idiot who, at the Country Radio Seminar 96 in Nashville, told Bryan in the hotel suite that if he worked his career right, he could be bigger than George Strait. He performed for us radio folk that night. I also met him at the party for awarding his gold album and releasing his new album earlier that same seminar.

Yeah, this one still kills me, too. This one and Someone Else's Star. Both just kill me. And I remember liking That's Another Song, too.Just wish he'd had a few more hits and stuck around for a few more years.I remember he did a great duet with Shania Twain on one of her huge hits, and I thought that hit duet was going to lift him out of the country-only realm and into the pop stratosphere with Shania...only, sadly, that didn't happen.When Shania put that duet on her European pop release, Bryan's vocal had mysteriously vanished.And when asked what had happened to him, the explanation was that no one outside the country music scene knew who Bryan White was, so it was decided to just leave him off the version Shania released to pop radio.I always wished Shania had fought a bit harder for Bryan and maybe given him a chance to cross over to the pop firmament as she did.
