I want to point out something I forgot. While Brunette/Hardline were marketed as a Glam/Hair Band their genre was definetely not Glam Metal...it was more Meloidic Hard Rock and AOR(Arena Rock)

You make a good point. I think a lot of the trouble was really just the mainstream record companies running it into the ground like they do with everything else. That hurts a genre as a whole so then smaller acts never get off the ground or gain enough recognition.

That's pretty damn arguable.There's many who don't think Grunge killed Metal at all.Mainstream Metal just killed itself...bands were fading away.And Grunge Bands took advantage of this they came out as fresh...they soon fucked it over though in a few years.
