Es un instante decisivo de cualquier persona muy bien contada como bien se dice y fenomenalmente musical como bien se oye. En esta obra muchas personas nos identificamos con al menos una parte pues no es una historia lineal sino que cuenta con muchos mátices que hacen involucrarte un poco mas de lo habitual por ejemplo nos habla de irse juntos, una desición al parecer precipitada que no es fácil, todos deseamos que Mary suba al auto pero es una desición dificil. Parece que Mary no es muy bella para él o talvez si,es de suponer que Mary tiene esa personalidad que hace no querernos separarnos de una persona por lo cual enamoro al chico. Estas son algunos aspectos escondidos que hacer meterse en la canción. Este chico ofrece una nueva vida cambiar alas por ruedas, vamos Mary sube, nuestro muchacho ofrece la tierra prometida, talvez trabaje de músico pues ya aprendió a tocar la guitarra y hasta hacerla hablar, quiza Mary piense en eso o no llega a pensar en tanto aún, ¿Pensará en sus padres? esta indecisa, no lo sé, alomejor la tomó por sorpresa, ¿Mary eres aventurera? esto cabiará tu vida hagas lo que hagas jajaja vamos Mary toma su mano y sube. La letra nos habla también de que Mary ha sentido sola como sin apoyo "por palabras que no he dicho", que habrá dejado de decirle para que Mary se sienta desolada y aún asi quiere llevársela, siguiendo el camino ya en otro lado las cosas serán mejores, nuestro muchacho sabe que ha dejado dejado de hacer lo correcto y quiza a perdido terreno pero ofrece ser libres.A cuantos chicos habrá rechazado Mary, quiza algunos enviaban recados cuando nuestro muchacho no estaba cerca, cosas de jovenes, no lo se talvez se hicieron la idea de que Mary ya paseaba en un porche. No se si el chico queria dejar su casa e iniciar en otro lugar con su Mary, talvez había gastado un poco de su juventud solo en diversión o me gusta más pensar que es un chico trabajador cansado del entorno que con mucha suerte o esfuerzo se hizo de su porche y lo arreglo para ponerlo a full, un joven con ideas, sueños, ambicioso y enamorado, buscando un nuevo lugar para vivir, asi que Mary vas pa´rriba y subete. Sea como sea esta canción tiene mucho para donde mirar y cada vez se le encuentra más detalles donde ya se había estado antes. Cada vez que escucho esta historía que es un instante de la vida, me muestra a dos jovenes, eternamente jovenes a punto o no de tomar la carretera del trueno.9 years ago
