He was right to change it, because this more jazz like sound, feels as if it belongs on one of his earlier albums. The changes he made show more musical progression and that he wasn't going to settle for Asbury Park or E Street Shuffle part 2.

This is the Chrissy version. The first version of Thunder Road. It was played one time on the radio. A short while after they changed Chrissy to Mary. My loss....
