On this day in 1981 {July 2nd} Bruce and the E-Street Band played the first show ever held at the 21,000 seat Brendan Byrne Meadowlands Arena in New Jersey... It was the 60th show of 'The River' tour; they opened the 29 song set with "Born To Run" and closed with "Rockin' All Over The World"... R.I.P. Danny Federici {1950-2008} and Clarence Clemons {1942-2011}...
