I love that Bruce can write beautiful, poetic songs, but knows that sometimes it's okay to just screw around with simple, raunchy rockers.

After watching him TRY to dance at 2:36 and looking like he's having convulsions, I have to say either take dancing lessons or stick to singing Springteen...truly painful to watch!

Yet another awesome performance from Bruce and the band...with the exception of Patti, who always seemed to look like she thought she really added something special by slapping a tambourine.

It's really funny to see Garry jumping and grooving around. He's so reserved onstage nowadays.

He did quite a bit in the early years through the BitUSA tour. From what I've read, he is your typical "reserved", quiet bass player who is content to keep the beat in the background. Stevie was incredibly active on stage and when he left to solo during the 80s, I think Garry stepped up a bit.

Who cares, anyway? There have been times when he has briefly "forgotten" (when you have a catalog of over 400 songs, some you haven't sung in over 30 years on stage..it happens), and he laughs, recovers quickly, etc. He uses a teleprompter now JUST in case..not uncommon at all for artists with an extensive catalog and breadth of career. Of course, when you move as much as he does...so what?

When you write the words to a song, a poem, in a book...you can do what you want with them as you feel. You OWN them.

One more with Bruce who turns 64 today. This is one of my favorites...so much enery back then and the most amazing is that he still go that energy on stage! *What a man.....like a Boss!* ;)#brucespringsteen#springsteen#theboss
