Bruce draws on what he knows, he was raised Catholic and went to Catholic school. Forget lyrics and listen to waht he says like "GOD I DON'T BELIEVE IN" and "Another reason for me to hate the Catholic Church" Or just read Clarence's book where he says "Bruce is an atheist"11 years ago

Steroids...why do you think this? Because of his build.? It is well known he runs 4-6 miles 4 times a day and lifts on the others...even on tour, he finds a gym. My brother in law was at an all night gym and saw him..comes in with baseball hat and glasses. His regime has paid off WELL as he still plays his HARD 3.5 hour concerts..ALL OVER THE STAGE at 63..11 years ago

Watch VH! Storytellers in which he takes questions from the audience. He says he is a "Runaway Catholic..said, 'See ya suckers!" after 8 brutal yrs in Catholic school (nun made him sit in a trashcan, nun allowed younger kids to punch him...). He said, "Those beliefs stay with you, the morals in some ways. I have 3 'pagan" babies at home..they will choose what to believe'. The scopes "monkey" trial was ALL about religion. Scopes was a teacher who refused to teach creationism because it has no scientific basis. He was put on trial because the law at that time in that state required teaching creationism. Frankly, you could not be more wrong.11 years ago

Lyrics are ART not his prayers. Now if you want FACT rather than guesses made based on fictional lyrics try NON fiction like Clarence's Autobiography where he states his CLOSE friend Bruce is an Atheist. Bruce is 100% a christian...he has stated on many occasions his belief in God and if you look at the lyrics in many of his songs you can see that very clearly. He was brought up a catholic and he uses a fair bit of catholic imagery in his songs. He doesn't care much for organised religion though any more, but his core blief is very much still there.12 years ago
