HE WROTE NEARLY 80 SONGS TO BE INCLUDED ON DARKNESS GOING BACK TO LATE 1975!! JUST ON AN AMAZING CREATIVE ROLL OF WRITING GREAT TRACKS AT THAT TIME! NOT ONLY THAT HE WAS ALSO THE GREATEST PERFORMER AS WELL AT THE TIME, INCREDIBLE TALENT!! CHUCK PLOTKIN SAVED BRUCE WITH AN AMAZING FINAL MIX OF THE ALBUM!!

Is there any way I can get this concert on DVD without buying the whole box set? I'm a huge Springsteen fan and I bought The Promise CD, but I just can't afford to spend all that money on the box set right now.

I agree with you. I would love to see a 3 hour movie made showing the 1978 tour. That would be awesome

Agreed. Even the outtakes from this era were outstanding. On that note, after "The Promise" I'm hoping for an official release of the next installment of outtakes. Songs such as "Chain Lightning", "Sugarland (Rockabilly Verion)" and "The Klansman" which are virtually unknown are also on my channel!

The entire 45 year career is just totally phenomenal....but 1978 was God-like.....
