how is Ali whinin in this track?i get that realism scares some people but we create our own change an that's what he's sayin.he points out the flaws in a messed up system us "bottom dwellers" are constantly havin to overcome.in the hook he makes it clear how thankful he is tho cause if you got the mindset to create change then you will create change.respect to the good Brother from a simple man

You're totally right. My mom was a crack whore and left three weeks after I was born six weeks premature due to complications from the drug and alcohol use. My dad was an abusive single parent. I finished high school homeless sleeping under a billboard on main street, left my hometown and got a job at Wal-Mart, lost that, went homeless again, and now am living in an apartment by myself finally just barely making enough to get ahead. I barely survived, but it made me a better person.
