A different take from the one on the LP displayed but as powerful as ever. A staunch fan of Brook's, a singer with a silky golden voice, I also believe the man got far less credit than he deserved - no Grammy or similar accolade! He was probably bigger in black SA than elsewhere in the world. His timeless classics 'Lie to Me', 'Got You on My Mind', 'Oh Lord, Why Lord', 'A Little Bit of Soap', 'I Love Her', 'These Arms You Push Away', 'Lord You Know How Men Are', and more did not even make the charts in his native America!

GranTorren l think it's wonderful that his LP'S went platinum in South Africa, but l don't think l'm the only one who feels Brook didn't get nearly the accolades he so richly deserved. It seems a travesty to me that he wasn't inducted into the Rock of Roll Hall of Fame (at least by the last time l visited). There have been so many of lesser talent in my opinion who have been who have been given the honor.

What a crooner. Never heard him before, glad I found him. Someone said RIP, well, I believe he's singing it still, only with the angels now up there!
