Like the song and the video. 2nd time BSS has paired a video and song like this. This is the age we live in, and instead of telling, they show. It works well with their music, as it’s ugly and beautiful without an exception. It paints a feeling not an idea. Cynics, pessimists, and nihilists always think the world is getting more violent. All studies show that the world is getting increasingly more peaceful. You just allow yourself to forget the fact that technology has become increasingly more capable at bringing what violence is out there to your computer and tv screen. It puts emphasis on it. I think humans are wonderful, and still create, love, and form valuable bonds. Before you accuse humanity of being faulty, examine your own world view and how it correlates to FACTS before you cast judgement and pass on gross, morbid-negativity.

From the band in an email today: ""Golden Facelift" is a song recorded during the Forgiveness Rock Record sessions, but ultimately did not make the final cut for one reason or another. It is a song we as a band all felt strongly about lyrically and musically and we wanted to give it a proper unveiling when the time was right. We feel that chance is now. 2014 was not been without its beauty, but it was also a year of incredible brutality and all of humanity has a great deal to answer for. This video asks some of those questions. It was sent to us by a lover of our music who wants to remain anonymous."
