"Leave it alone" is a personal favourite and could quite possibly be Broken Bells masterpiece, an incredibly soulful and touching song which is relatable to all, the instrumental accompanying the beautiful lyrics enrich the symbolic nature of what the song is trying to say, and that is even after heart ache and misery brought on by ones perception of their partner leads them on the path of being alone, which is that of individuality and one should embrace the choices that they have made. The listener can put themselves in the shoes of the singer as we have all felt the tough, arduous times of leaving the ones we love. The singing by James Mercer is on another level of brilliance, the passion and meaning behind what he is trying to represent can be felt in ways in which i did not believe he had in him. Overall, this song is fantastic, everybody needs to listen to this and without a shadow of doubt they will be in love with Broken Bells after it.If you dont agree, i guess you should just "Leave it alone"
