Chicago native, Singer/Songwriter Britt Dignan has the ability to capture your heart with his talent for writing meaningful lyrics placed smoothly over his slick Acoustic melodies and impromptu jams. He paints a picture with his folky story telling, his soulful rooted voice, and extraordinary stage presence.

Britt was born in Bolingbrook, IL on June 27th 1986 and began his musical journey off on the drums and played in many band's and music performance's through out middle school. From there he learned to play Alto and Tenor Sax landing him a spot in his Jr. High Jazz band. While today he mainly sticks to six strings he messed around on the piano early, as well as bass, which he still plays today. All though Britt was not playing much guitar until around age 11 he still learned a few chords and songs from his father that he was able to strum along to.

Britt has been part of the midwest music scene since early 2005, sharing the stage with many nationally touring bands, playing a plethora of well known Venues and establishments. He has become an accomplished Singer/Songwriter throughout the Midwest and its surrounding states. Also taking part in his share of touring and multiple projects over the years. His first full length album "Ordinary Life" was released in late January, 2013 and is currently available on iTunes.

People ask what Britt's music sounds like yet it's hard to boil an artist's style down to one genre. It's not an exact science because each one brings their own unique music to the table. However with his latest CD release, "Ordinary Life," concert goers of all ages are raving about his original music. His acoustic rock, folk and southern style is fresh, and easy to listen to, with memorable songs you'll find yourself singing and humming over and over again like, "Friendly Neighbors," Eyes of the Maker," "Lovers and Sinners," and "Turn Around."
