"Normans" is a contraction of Norsemen. They came from Scandinavia and settled in Normandy, which is part of modern day France. Modern Day France invaded Norman lands at some medieval point (wikipedia it if you can be bothered cos I can't) and took Normandy back, leaving the Norman line in charge of England and the Channel Islands. So you're both right.

BSP could have gone for it in 2004 when they played Birmingham Academy to 1,200 people...a year later they were in small clubs...which is where they are in 2012...I remember thinking it seemed a deliberate decision
