I have no idea why this song gives me so many feelings but it does and I like it.

Fevers and Mirrors is, in my opinion, his most depressing album. I rarely listen to it because of that reason alone. Not that I don't like the songs, they are awesome. But they are way more depressing and not as good as his earlier or later stuff. Anyone else feel like with each album comes a different genre?

I think it's a kind of weak album overall, too, apart from June on the West Coast, as well as Padraic my Prince and If Winter Ends, if I'm in a gloomier mood. Fevers and Mirrors is gold, though.

its definitely his worst record. some great songs on it, but seriously everything from fevers on is damn near flawless

Personally, I don't believe there is such as "bad work" with Conor, and I'm not saying that as a fangirl-esque comment. I legitimately find that he's one of the best musicians and song writers I have ever listened to. But, his writing does get much, much better within time. He's ages like wine.

@cooliodiddy When they came to El Paso, they also played this. I actually like this, but the live version is lovely. And artists can do whatever they want, but I'm glad he's not one of those guys who shuns his early "bad" work, but instead brings it back and does it better. That's a little unheard of.

I hope Conor knows how valuable his life is

this album is flawed, he was 15-18 years old and recording on a reel to reel in a laundry room. therefore it is great due to its "realness"

Pretty sure this is the only song off this album they played at the show I went to. I liked the way he sang it live, his voice sounded so much more mature.

Other than June on the West Coast, I considered everything Conor did before Fevers and Mirrors to be flawed to the point of no return. This song proved me way, way wrong.
