Gold and Rose - the colour of the dream I had

Not too long ago

Misty Blue and Lilac too

Never to grow old

There you were under the Tree of Song

Sleeping so peacefully

In your hand a flower played

Waiting there for me

I have never laid eyes on you

Not before this timeless day

But you woke and you - woh - smiled my name

You stole my heart away

You stole my heart away little girl - yeah

All right!

Gold and Rose - the colour of the dream I had

Not too long ago

Misty Blue and Lilac too

Never to grow old

Gold and Rose - the colour of the dream I had

Misty Blue and Lilac too

Gold and Rose - the colour of the dream I had

Misty Blue and Lilac too

Gold and Rose

Gold and Rose

Gold and Rose

Its only a dream

Id love to tell somebody about this dream

The sky was filled with a thousand stars

While the sun kissed the mountains blue

And eleven moons played across the Rainbows

Above me and you

Gold and Rose

Gold and Rose

The colour of the Velvet Wall

That surrounds us.

Respectfully, I much prefer the Hendrix. I guess I just find this cheesier in places - personal taste. Nevertheless - there's something magical that happens with the bass guitar at 1:20-1:23 which adds awesome pace - love it... wish it were kept up longer.

Whoever disliked this needs to be totured brutally. This is a TUNE!!!!!!!!!!! To all Hendrix fans, I like the original... ish, but Brian TEARS IT UP!!!!!!!! Not to mention that his vocals are superbly awesome - a perfect battle of melodic sweet vocals and raging guitar; even on the slow riffs Red Special sounds like it's in a TEMPER!!!

It's a very beautiful cover. Not sure what happens to some of you guys, I think Jimmy would like it. Damn it. It's about music, it's about art. Not some ego war...

@Robot1PlanetTharg by "all" what you mean? Brian May is alive! And Jimi's genius will never die!

no matter where you go on youtube, you get dicks starting arguments.... perhaps people should reflect on the message of wisdom, spirituality and compassion that flows through the song above...

Sad, sad, sad!

@Gregsynthbootlegs Honestly, the guy just didn't understand what he was saying nor what I was replying to. The guy can't see past the surface of any sort of discussion and what's sad is that it includes what he says.

LOL! I don't think rojemm20 checks the comments! I was reading throughout this argument/debate, and I was laughing at the stupidity (not you)! "Bohemian Rhapsody was commercial." Really? I didn't know that a song needed to be nearly 6 minutes, have multiple parts, and have an opera section to be "commercial!" Maybe he lit up too many bongs back in the day!

@Gregsynthbootlegs Lol, it's fine.. Unless they're completely dumb and practically type nothing but unrelated insults, I usually give the person a chance. This went a bit longer than it should have because he really wasn't giving me any solid arguments and for lack of a better description, was simply being annoying. And my apologies go to rojemm20, though, maybe he expected related debates when posting this video XD

Queen never sold out.

Hey Dave, don't even pay attention to him: Anyone who calls a fan a "poser" for liking/listening to Rhapsody is a total nut!

@Typhoon792 You're right. It's not going anywhere. But we had fun, no? My point was that those who were following Queen from the first album thought Rhapsody was a sell out, though a really well done one. By the time Another One Bites The Dust came out, we all agreed ...another one had bitten the dust.. I'm really out this time. Ciao

@IYAMNI Wow... My fucking point is, they had a hard time deciding whether to release it or not. I'm saying the song wasn't purposely intended to be "commercial" and they were surprised that people found a liking to it. Obviously they thought it was good, which it is, but I actually also stopped liking it too much after listening even a little bit to Queen. Again though, THAT"S NOT THE FUCKING POINT! Now we're going off topic. This is clearly pointless as you can't even comprehend the matter.

@Typhoon792 "It was the exact opposite of "commercial". OMG. You know nothing about Queen. Rhapsody is when they solidified themselves as a radio play band. Their biggest hit and one of the biggest of all time. First two were FM play only. And better. Production sucked by comparison, but it was raw and alive. Sheer Heart Attack was shifted towards radio play and had a couple of really clone style hits. But it wasn't until Rhapsody that Queen attracted the clones and posers... like you.
