This song charted at #20 on the Billboard Country chart (and #38 Adult Contemporary) for Pat Daisy in 1972. Also recorded by Dickey Lee (who co-wrote it), Glenn Yarbrough, Dottsy and the Tradewinds. Written by Dickey Lee and Allen Reynolds.

Brenda does it just right. Pat Daisy had the hit version in 1972 and also did it well. In my thrift store rambles I found the song on a Glenn Yarbrough album, and his is also a solid reading. It is just one great song!!!
