A bit of a different upload for me today :D As a celebration of 20 years of Nirvana's Nevermind, Kerrang! have got many bands to cover the entirety of the original album.

No no no no and motherfucking NO. This is my favorite Nirvana song EVER, and Rise to Remain fucking ruined it. Fuck you Kerrang! for ruining both Nirvana's Nevermind and Green Day's American Idiot. Kerrang! needs to fucking die now! *rant over

I find it amusing that there are people complaining that Kurt hated Metalcore breakdowns, when what we call metalcore didn't exist back then - metalcore back then is what we refer to as crossover thrash. The closest thing to our metalcore is metallic hardcore - and I'm pretty sure that Kurt wouldn't have a problem with that, since he worked with a metal band.

Every video I see, no exception on it being metal or rock, there is always someone who is making an argument offending some band o someone :3 Just STFU :D

Dude, this is from a Kerrang album. It's a tribute to Nirvana, to show respect. All the bands that are on this album like Nirvana. Why else would they play on a tribute cd? But Rise To Remain is still metalcore so expect a breakdown :)

Who gives a shit. They were asked to cover it and they did and made it their own. Don't like it don't listen to it, I hate alot of the songs on this album so I just don't listen to them. It's life, and you posting that isn't gonna make the song dissapear.

Clearly not heard the rest of the album. Pretty sure Kurt would've credited an energetic cover which some of the other stuff was anything but - couple of the covers on this album completely stripped out the energy and mood of the original songs. At least this kept that going.

Last time I checked Metalcore wasn't very popular in the 90's.

This cover is shit, it's a known fact that Kurt Cobain hated metalcore breakdowns as outros

Cobain would praise RTR for this cover aswell as Evile/Dillinger....he would however slap the idiots who shitted on his music such as We Are The Ocean's shitting on Silver
