at the present time there is only two British members in it, there are two from Portugal and one from Spain but they did start out as a British band from Gibraltar.

Besides, you do have a point. While Breed77 is from gibraltal, there are other metal/flamenco fusions in Spain, like Night to Die. Surely some band in Spain should have inherited some influence from that epic Morente/Lagartija Nick album...
