Autotune is used in a vast majority of recordings in recent yrs....ask a hater to list their fav modern music (all genres) and if you do ur research most of their fav shit uses it. Britney is a great vocalist, people who don't like her just don't like her style so they equate that to bad singing

I truly believe that autotune and all the effects in the world can definitely make you sound better if you have a good voice but if you have a bad voice to begin with it can make it sound decent but you'll know they truly don't have talent because it will sound too computer generated. Also if the artist never belts out in their songs you can tell they don't have genuine talent. Some artists like Britney have trademark voices because its so unique.. Her breathiness is what makes her voice so hot
