John, I met David Gates after a BREAD concert in Chicago in 1972 or 1973 and he showed me how to play the first 2 chords to "Make It With You" but he had me go down 2 frets from the first chord to make the second chord but every video I have of Bread shows David playing the 2nd chord on the 6th fret but I could never really see the fingering until you showed it just now. That's the chord I have been missing. It sounds almost the same as the first way but a little different. Thanks.
