This kind of techfest music has it's place I believe, but when technicality is implemented into a groove or melody (Decrepit Birth, Nile) it's better that way.

I never really liked Brain Drill, or any of the more "extreme" tech death bands. Sure, their music is technical as shit, but it just sounds like exercises instead of songs. You have to balance technicality and musicality to make something that is a pleasure to listen to and to play. This is still a great cover though; my horns are up to you, sir.
